Cavity treatment
During the treatment of dental caries, we remove the damaged parts of the tooth and then restore it to its natural anatomical shape using the most advanced filling materials.
How does the treatment proceed?
We treat cavities gently and always do our best to preserve the tooth and maintain as much healthy tooth structure as possible. The usual procedure is as follows:
- We begin with a diagnosis and consultation, during which we discuss your dental issue in detail.
- We perform a thorough examination using modern technology (such as magnification tools or low-radiation X-rays).
- Based on the results, we propose a treatment plan and explain the next steps.
- We carry out the cavity treatment itself, which typically includes administering anesthesia (numbing the tooth), drilling, and placing a white filling.
No need to worry about pain
Before drilling, the affected tooth and surrounding area are gently numbed using local anesthesia. We use the following types of anesthesia:
- Injection anesthesia
- Topical (mucosal) anesthesia (gel or spray applied to numb the injection site, making the injection almost painless)
The white filling ensures that the restored tooth has a natural anatomical shape. The use of the latest materials guarantees maximum preservation of healthy tooth tissue.
